Dinner at Boulevard Park

Tonight we decided it was time to break our routine and do something crazy. So, we went to the park. We are so adventurous, aren't we? On our way to the park we picked up some dinner (chicken teriyaki - yum!) and proceeded to have a much needed night out.

We ate.

We talked.

We walked.

And, in usual form, we took a million pictures of Robert. That is, before he pooped all over the place and had to be rushed back to the car for an emergency changing session.

It was a perfect night to get out and go for a walk. Here are a few pictures:

He loved having the sun shade chomp down on his feet. Silly boy.

Definitely a nice way to spend the evening, but now I'm exhausted and ready for bed.

Of course as I'm posting this I realize the house has gotten very quiet. A little too quiet.

Leaving the country

Recently Robert and I met up with my parents in Victoria B.C. for a short getaway. While the trip didn't quite go as planned, I did manage to get a few pictures during a walk to the harbour.

During my high school band days we put on a show from the Parliament steps. We were pretty much amazing. I'm pretty sure I dyed my hair orange just for that trip to Victoria... ridiculous.

All in all, it was nice to get away for a few days. I just wish Alex could have come with us.
