New Year equals...

New church schedule. 9 am to be exact.

While this is good for most (i.e. my husband) I am so not a morning person. Not only am I not a morning person, I'm extremely cranky when I have to pretend to be a morning person. So there we are at church. Everyone is singing, feeling happy, receiving spiritual enlightenment, etc. And then there's me, crankified, sitting in the back row, still coming to terms with the fact that I've left my warm, comfy bed for the day. I know. Get over it, right? Maybe another day (or never). For now me and my stubborn, non-morning self are going to take a nap. A very, very long nap (think hibernation). G'night!

I feel your pain. Makes me recall when Bishop Gorman was ecstatic that we got to be on an 8:30 a.m. schedule! I usually had 4 1/2 to 5 hours of sleep on Sunday morning. :-P

The nice part is how much day is left by the time you get home... but you're so tired it doesn't matter. Guess it really does make it a day of REST. ;-)

We're on the 11:00 now and that's not such a bad time. Think I'll like it. Only thing... choir is still at 4:00, so better go eat so I can get back to church!

Hope you're having a nice visit with Diane... I know all of you are TIRED.

FYI... It's SNOWING again! A front is coming in and started while I was chatting with Robert on the phone. I decided to bag going to choir. They might have a pretty slippery ride back home. :-/ Dad was going to a meeting tonight but the gal in charge canceled because their hill was already getting treacherous.

I know... me complaining about snow to someone in Utah is absurd... but you know how it is. :-)

Just be happy you can still take naps when you want to. I don't even know what they are anymore.
