Today marks a momentous occassion - Sophie is 11!! Can you believe it? Our little Sophie is rapidly outgrowing all those around her and becoming a teenager.
Here are some things Alex and I love about Sophie:
Sophie's laugh is 100% maniacal 100% of the time. We're pretty sure she's going to take over the world one day.
She has interesting methods of getting people's attention - i.e. throwing sandwiches at them.
She is an amazing artist. We have saved all of our Sophie artwork because it always makes us smile when we're having a bad day. Truly. When we were moving I came across the picture she drew of Alex and I getting married... and the tornado that struck.
She's a cuddler - and a bed hog! (I recall being run off an air mattress at Jenna's the night before Alex and I got married...)
She's a chicken farmer.
She loves to read and give us the recap of what she's reading.
She's an excellent swimmer! (This makes Alex very happy).
She's smart, creative and funny. We love that she's not afraid to be herself.
Keep being you Sophie. We love you!

awwww you guys truly are the best... and so is she. I was realizing this fact the other day. There have only been about 3 or 4 events in my life that have truly changed me and the entire course of who I was headed to be and she is one of them... thanks for the call, I will call you to get the update!
